Esports is no longer unfamiliar territory in Malaysia. In just a few years, it has grown from a niche hobby among young people into a serious industry – with local tournaments streamed live on YouTube and Twitch, professional teams headquartered in Kuala Lumpur, and Malaysian players representing the country on the SEA Games stage. At comeon, we recognised this potential early and invested in building an esports betting platform that truly meets the needs of local fans.
One of the things that sets comeon from other platforms is the depth of coverage for local leagues. MPL Malaysia is the most prestigious MLBB league in the country, and comeon offers comprehensive betting markets for every match – not just win or lose, but markets like first map winner, total kills in a game, or even which player will claim MVP in that match.
For esports fans who understand the intricacies of each game, this depth of coverage is an invaluable edge. Your knowledge of the current MLBB meta, your favourite team's strategies, or the head-to-head record between two sides – all of it can be put to work to make smarter betting decisions at comeon.
More markets mean more ways to put your knowledge to work.
Predict which team will win the overall match (series). The most straightforward bet type and a great starting point for esports newcomers on comeon.
The weaker team is given a map advantage (e.g. +1.5 maps). This removes the chance of overly predictable outcomes and offers better value.
Predict who wins the first game or map only. Attractive odds with results known earlier – a popular choice among comeon players.
For BO3/BO5 series – predict whether the total number of maps played will be over or under the set line. Example: Over 2.5 maps in a BO3.
Predict which team draws first blood (MLBB) or gets the first kill (CS2/Valorant) in each game. High odds with fast results settled within the opening minutes.
Place bets while the match is live. Odds shift in real time with the flow of the game – ideal for those watching live who can read the momentum of a match.

Esports is no longer just entertainment – it is a fully recognised sports industry with professional leagues, credentialed athletes, and an increasingly mature betting ecosystem. In Malaysia, this growth is very much felt. We have MPL Malaysia broadcasting every weekend, players like Lemon and KarlTzy who are known across Southeast Asia, and a fan community that keeps growing from Johor Bahru to Kota Bharu.
At comeon, we believe that esports fans who truly understand the games they follow have a significant edge when it comes to betting. This is different from football or conventional sports betting – in esports, the game meta shifts with every patch, new heroes or agents are introduced every few weeks, and team strategies can change drastically in a very short time. Your up-to-date knowledge of all this is an invaluable asset.
Mobile Legends: Bang Bang is more than just a game in Malaysia – it's a cultural phenomenon. From schoolkids playing in their bedrooms to professional players training ten hours a day, MLBB cuts across every level of society. MPL Malaysia is the premier league for MLBB in the country, and every season delivers drama, upsets, and moments that fans remember for years.
For the purpose of betting at comeon, MLBB offers an extensive range of markets. Beyond the overall match winner, you can bet on which team destroys the first Turret, which side secures the first Lord, the total kill count in a single game, and much more. Teams like Team SMG, known for their aggressive playstyle, going up against TODAK's more calculated and methodical approach – these contrasting styles open up compelling betting opportunities for those who follow the league closely.
Valorant captured the hearts of Malaysian players not long after its 2020 launch. Combining the tactical shooting elements of CS:GO with ability-based gameplay similar to hero games, Valorant draws fans from both worlds at once. VCT (Valorant Champions Tour) Pacific has since become the premier stage where teams from Malaysia, Singapore, the Philippines, Korea, and Japan compete fiercely against one another.
comeon offers complete coverage of VCT Pacific – from the Kickoff stage right through to the Finals. For CS2, our platform provides comprehensive betting across all major leagues including ESL Pro League, BLAST Premier, and IEM. If you follow the CS2 scene seriously, you'll know that team head-to-head records and map-specific performance can offer highly valuable insights when making your betting decisions.
Live in-play betting on esports is among the most thrilling in sports betting. An MLBB match that looks one-sided can turn around in an instant – a badly lost teamfight, a surprise pickoff, or the wrong call on Lord can completely flip the game. Players who watch matches live and can read the momentum have a real edge over the odds algorithm.
comeon offers in-play betting for esports with fast odds updates and a wide range of markets. When you see Team A struggling in the early game but holding a stronger hero composition for the late game, and their odds climb to 2.50 or higher – that's the kind of opportunity your knowledge should help you evaluate. This is what makes esports betting distinct and more challenging than any other sports category.

How to improve your win rate in esports betting on comeon.
In esports, player substitutions can happen without warning. A team losing their main carry or an experienced support can see their performance drop sharply. Always check the latest roster before placing a bet on comeon.
A new patch in MLBB or Valorant can shift which heroes or agents dominate the meta. Teams that adapt quickly to a new patch typically hold a significant edge in the early matches following an update.
Some teams have a strong or poor record against certain opponents – even when current rankings suggest otherwise. Head-to-head records within the same season can be a valuable signal when placing bets on comeon.
If time permits, rewatch recent matches of the team you're looking to bet on. Pay attention to their playstyle, hero or agent picks, and any weaknesses that their next opponent might be able to exploit on the comeon platform.
Don't focus solely on the match winner market. Markets like total maps, first blood, or map handicap on comeon often offer better value for the team you believe in – especially when the outright winner odds have already dropped too low.
What makes comeon the top choice for Malaysian esports fans.

Malaysia's esports journey is a story worth celebrating. It started with cybercafés in Petaling Jaya and Chow Kit in the early 2000s, and today we have professional esports athletes recognised by the government, training programmes backed by the Ministry of Youth and Sports, and Malaysian representatives consistently finishing on the podium at the SEA Games esports categories.
Within the MLBB ecosystem in particular, Malaysia is a major Southeast Asian powerhouse. Malaysian teams such as Team SMG and TODAK have proven themselves on the M-Series stage – the MLBB World Championship. This success has had a direct impact on the popularity of esports betting among Malaysian fans, and comeon is here to make sure you have the best platform to be part of the action.
What makes the Malaysian esports community stand out is its remarkably high level of knowledge. Local MLBB fans understand the draft phase, they can break down picks and bans in detail, and they know the strengths and weaknesses of every team in the league. That deep expertise is your real advantage when betting at comeon – because you're not just relying on luck, you're making decisions backed by solid analysis.
Beyond MLBB, younger Malaysian players are increasingly drawn to Valorant alongside the growth of the VCT in the Pacific region. Malaysian teams have been putting up more consistent performances in regional leagues, and this opens up more exciting betting opportunities on the platform comeon. The future of Malaysian esports looks incredibly bright – and even more exciting when you can be part of that journey as an active participant through informed betting.
